Patricia Drach

Hey Everyone! My name is Patricia Drach and I am photographer here in Middle TN! I was born and raised here and I now live in Bell Buckle TN. I mainly photograph dogs and horses but also love to photograph them with their owners to showcase their special bond they have together.

You might be reading this and wondering, "What's so special about this photographer?" Well, buckle up, because I'm about to spill my WHY! Get ready for the most genuine tale about my love for photography you've ever heard

As a child, I didn't have many friends and often felt like the odd one out, which meant I wasn't among the popular kids at school. But reflecting on my childhood, I remember having numerous dogs, who were my closest companions and my best friend. I would talk to them, seek comfort in their hugs when I cried, and they were always there for support when I needed it. In addition to

dogs, we also had horses and several outdoor cats. Growing up, I wasn't aware of professional photographers who specialized in capturing animals; instead, I took it upon myself to

photograph them as a way to preserve memories. Now, those photographs serve as cherished memories of the past.

People often ask me, “How do you manage to have so much patience when photographing

horses and dogs?” I believe my patience stems from the understanding that they have always

shown me patience throughout my life. My perspective is that any animal you genuinely love—

and who loves you back—doesn’t care about your appearance, your way of speaking, whether you live in a fancy house, or drive an expensive car. All they truly care about is the love you offer them! I came across a quote that has stuck deeply with me: “"Your animal may only be here for part of your life, but for your animal you are their whole life.” This is for most animals as some heart animals don’t come into your life until they are older. But the way I look at it is if its either a heart horse, dog, or cat if God wants that animal in your life he will deliver them to you at the best time and when you need it the most!

This is why photography holds a special place in my heart; it allows me to capture the fleeting memories of our lives. Growing up, we had this wonderful dog named Prue, who was my everything. We welcomed her into our home when she was just eight weeks old, but sadly, we lost her when she was only two years old. To be honest, I have only one photograph of her, and for weeks, I stared at that picture, struggling to comprehend why it happened. She was my heart and my closest companion, but it seemed that God needed her more than I did. This experience drives me to take countless pictures of my dogs today, as I want to cherish every moment and remember them as much as possible when the time comes ( I pray this doesn’t happen for MANY MANY MANY Years but you never know what God has in store)

So if you are looking for a photographer that takes her job VERY serious but also want to have fun reach out to me! As I said before I understand how important it is to have photographs of either your favorite pet, yourself, or your brand so please reach out and lets talk.
